Curious about the work week for American Idol contestants? Here we go:
Thursday begins the week after the eliminations on Wednesday. Contestants think about song choices and decide on their looks (i.e. ponyhawks, facial hair, etc.)
On Friday, they nail down song choices and go shopping for wardrobe.
On Saturday, the contestants meet with their celebrity mentors for the taped rehearsals.
Sunday is anything but a day of rest. They have a full production day taping the Ford-sponsored music videos.
Monday is rehearsal day.
Tuesday is the live performance day, and they have a dress rehearsal prior to this. Supposedly, a lot of the contestants gather at their Hollywood apartment complex to watch the show together. I bet they don’t invite Sanjaya.
And Wednesday is elimination day. After the show, they gather at a restaurant for a good-bye dinner.
So on any given day, if you were so inclined, you could consult the schedule and figure out what your favorite Idol is doing at the same time.
