So, we have arrived at the finals of DWTS, and that means one thing - someone is going home with a cheap-looking mirror-ball trophy on Tuesday. But, who? Laila and Maks have always bored me. Sure, technically they are fine, but there is never any pizazz in their dancing and zero chemistry between the two. On the other hand, Joey and Kym have always been fun (though a little hokey, at times) to watch and their freestyle dance tonight was great. However, from the beginning I have been riding the Apolo train, and I am certainly not changing tracks now.
Apolo and Julianne are easily the most fun to watch, and with their second dance of the evening (the break-dance inspired freestyle), I think they have secured their win. Having watched this program for several weeks, I found that this evening’s episode was by far the most enjoyable, and I attribute that to the fact that the couples were allowed to throw those stifling rules out the proverbial window and just have fun. At any rate, I hope Apolo has room on his mantle for the above mentioned trophy, because he deserves it. Oh, and he is THE CUTEST CUTIE EVER!
