The second cutest member of the Heroes cast (second only to Masi Oka), Hayden Panettiere, always seems to be hopped up on coffee. Here she is bringing a bit of Joe to her friend. 17-year-old Panettiere has the potential to be the next round of Hollywood trouble if she doesn’t watch herself. Coffee is the bridge to other substances!

Victoria Beckham is jumping right into L.A. life by enrolling her kids in soccer and taking them to practice like the average mother. Now I don’t live in Los Angeles, and I don’t know what really goes on there, but she seems entirely out of place. Is this really the average mom in Hollywood? Even in L.A. she must be over-the-top. I have a feeling that she’s going to have a bit of a problem making friends with other Angelinos. At least she and Posh-wannabe Katie Holmes have each other. Katie doesn’t have any other friends, and neither does Posh. It’s perfect!

Kimberly Stewart and Tommy Lee, the world’s skankiest couple, showed up at Courtney Love’s concert last night. Tommy was sporting some sort of finger injury, and I really hate to wonder how he got that. This couple completely creeps me out. Let’s hope Kimberly’s dad Rod Stewart has some issues with this match, otherwise he’s just a bad dad!

Would you feel guilty if you shoplifted from corporate America? In Winona Ryder’s first interview on that fateful day in 2001 at the Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, she says that she really didn’t.
I didn’t have this tremendous sense of guilt, because I hadn’t hurt anyone. Had I physically harmed someone or caused harm to a human being, I think it would have been an entirely different experience.”
Well, she didn’t kill someone, but stealing technically does cause harm someone who’s trying to run a business.
But the million-dollar question after all of these years is why a famous, wealthy woman would actually steal. She blames it on painkillers that she got from a “quack” doctor.
Two months prior to that, I broke my arm in two places, and the doctor, a sort of quack doctor, was giving me a lot of stuff and I was taking it at first to get through the pain. And then there was this weird point when you don’t know if you are in pain but you’re taking it.”
The painkillers left her in a state of “confusion” But the arrest was a blessing in disguise because she never touched those pills again. She moved to San Francisco to be close to her parents and kept a low profile until now. She’s apparently gearing up for her three movie releases this year: Ten, Sex and Death 101, and The Last Word.
Well, I welcome back Winona. She’s done the classy thing and stayed on the down-low for years. Imagine that in the young Hollywood world we live in. You’ve got to admire that.

Michelle Pfeiffer did the Today Show this morning promoting her new movie Hairspray, and she looked fabulous.
This appearance was just one of the countless cast bombardments of all available media outlets to promote the musical, but, as predicted, John Travolta is noticeably absent from showing up at Today. Just take a look at this appearance schedule. If you search the document for “Today Show”, you will find every other noteworthy cast member doing it.
Well, there’s one good thing that has come out of the Today Show boycott. I know that I can tune in and be assured that I won’t have to endure seeing Tom Cruise or John Travolta shooting off their nonsense.

Showing solidarity to fellow Scientologist John Travolta, Katie Holmes showed up at the Hairspray premiere in a very Posh-like outfit. Once again, the pregnancy rumors are flying around as you can see from the side-angle shot. I’m going to have to discount the rumors since the same thing happened about a month ago, but the next day she had a flat stomach wearing a bathing suit. There’s something with this girl and her stomach. Remember the last pregnancy when the size of her belly kept going up and down? It must be a trait of this particular alien race.

Just when you thought your television would finally be rid of the oh-so-annoying Donald Trump, NBC has thrown us a curve-ball by bringing back the tired Apprentice in a midseason, celebrity version. And I bet you can guess who the fame-whore says that he wants. That’s right, his arch-rival Rosie O’Donnell. She says no way. From her rep, “It will not happen in this lifetime or beyond.” So Rosie’s preparing for The Donald to be a pest in the hereafter, too. I can see that.

It’s everyone’s worst nightmare…a male version of Paris Hilton, and she’s nabbed him. He looks like her, wears pink garments, and even speaks like her, well, apart from the Australian accent. His name is Tyler Atkins and he designs t-shirts under the label Rock Stars and Angels. He and Paris were seen “making out like teenagers” on Saturday outside the Polaroid Beach House in Malibu. But that’s not all. In this Youtube video from Australia, he describes being drugged by a famous person in Hollywood which led to a threesome in a bathtub. It’s around the 7-minute mark, and it’s worth watching just to understand why he and Paris probably get along fabulously. But who was this famous chick? Was it Paris or someone else?

Lindsay Lohan checked out of Promises Treatment Center after 45 days on Friday and flew the coop to Las Vegas to party it up at Pure wearing a voluntary alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet. There were reports that she was under some sort of contract to appear at Pure a set number of times since her 21st brithday party/booze fest fell through. So I guess she’s making good on it. The non-alcoholic beverages are arranged just so to add to the sober-but-still-can-party perception. Good luck with all that. Can Lindsay really be around booze at a place like this and not succumb? If so, she’s a stronger woman than I’ll ever be!

Friends are saying that Hugh Grant has asked on-again/off-again girfriend Jemima Khan to be his wife although they deny it and even deny that they are back together. Jemima, who is divorced from Pakistani cricket-star-turned-politician Imran Khan, is reported to be reluctant to rush into another marriage. Do you think this engagement has anything to do with Elizabeth Hurley tying the knot recently?

In honor of the lovable George Takei being back on the Howard Stern Show this week, here’s a picture of him at the San Francisco Gay Pride Parade last month on the Google float. Geeks will remember Takei as Sulu from the original Star Trek, and he also plays Hiro’s father on the hit show Heroes. But I love him best when he’s in New York sitting in with Howard and the gang. He’s so genuine and intelligent that he brings a fantastic angle to the show that can’t be beat. Welcome back, George!

Nicole Richie’s lawyers have managed to get her drunk driving trial delayed again until August 16 so that an expert witness can attend. The trial stems from The Simple Life star getting caught going the wrong way on an LA freeway, and she could get 4 days to 1 year in prison if convicted. She coincidentally has found herself pregnant, reportedly, and the lawyers surely are using that as a card. The longer they can delay the trial, the more she will be showing. But will the courts have mercy on a pregnant substance abuser who likes to drive the wrong way on the freeway?

17-year-old Harry Potter actress Emma Watson is rumored to have struck a deal with Chanel to be the new face of the French fashion house. The deal would probably be worth around $4 million, and Watson will have access to all of the collections.
Watson has been sporting Chanel at all of the Order of the Phoenix events in the last few weeks so that’s probably a good indication that she has something cooking. No word on whether Daniel Radcliffe is planning to represent Leather Etc.

There’s a new investigation going on as to whether Paris Hilton got special treatment while in jail. If you believe what she told Larry King (if you do, you’d be pretty stupid at this point), then she was treated exactly as every other inmate. But the specifications of the investigation include the alleged use of a cordless phone instead of waiting for the payphone, a new uniform when everyone else gets a recycled one, and getting her mail delivered by a captain instead of an inmate trustee.
If these allegation are true, the people in charge of those perks should be ashamed. Paris Hilton is not an important person! Who do they think she is, Nelson Mandela?

Lindsay Lohan has become the unofficial young Hollywood spokesman for Malibu’s Promises Treatment Center and at this point, rehab in general. In fact she loves it so much that I wonder if they are going to have to throw her out kicking and screaming. She told Tatler magazine,
It changed my life. I didn’t have a good grip on it and I needed to get my s*** together. I was going out too much and I had too much pressure on my shoulders.
“I was not that happy and I needed to go to that place to be happy.”
Britney Spears, who has disowned her mother for sending her to rehab, should follow Lohan’s lead in embracing treatment instead of being so nasty and angry all the time. It’s really not becoming.
