It was reported all over the place that Britney Spears signed up to join Cyndi Lauper on her True Colors tour in Los Angeles, but Brit isn’t actually showing up. Why? Because she would have had to sing for real. That’s right, she obviously cannot perform without lip-syncing, and Lauper will have none of that. A source told Page Six,

There’s no way. Britney said she would only dance or lip-sync - and to be on stage with Cyndi, you have to actually perform. It’s not happening now.”

So a world-famous singer is unable to perform live without having her voice canned? There’s something very wrong with this world.

The True Colors people also invited Britney to perform at the first concert on the tour which happened in Vegas, but Britney never called them back. Way to look after your career, Brit.
