We recently told you about Elizabeth Hurley and new husband, Arun Nayar, leaving a major dent in India after their non-traditional wedding there. Now there is scandal brewing after their other wedding in England. Apparently they forgot to pay the minister. They were married by Reverend John Partington, who asked that they pay the church, Winchombe’s St. Peter’s Church, but the Daily Mirror has said that the church never received the money. A source told the newspaper,

Elizabeth is mortified. She sent off a check a few weeks ago but it must have got lost in the post. Obviously, she will sort this out as soon as possible.”

She doesn’t have to use the “lost in the mail” excuse. She can simply say that she forgot because she’s busy with other things like dealing with family excommunications and Indian lawsuits.
