Can a Hollywood fling be over before it even started? That seems to be the case for Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal who never actually went public with their relationship. The most we have on them are some obscure pictures of a couple of SUVs which supposedly were whisking the couple away, together but separately. Oh, and there was that rumor that they visited a reproductive doctor together, but she doesn’t seem to be pregnant.
Reportedly Witherspoon is still getting over her divorce from Ryan Phillippe which was finalized five months ago. A source said, “She doesn’t have enough emotional space for him [Gyllenhaal] right now.”
All of her emotion seems to be taken up with paranoia instead. She supposedly doesn’t want to leave the house because she thinks everyone is talking about her failed marriage. That must be why she didn’t want to be seen in public with Gyllenhaal. Her craziness must have driven him out. Doesn’t she know that people have more important things to talk about, like Paris Hilton?
