Remember that weird story a couple of years back in which some crazy guy who worked on David Letterman’s ranch in Montana was plotting to kidnap Letterman’s son Harry? Well, he’s escaped from prison. Kelly A. Frank, 45, was serving ten years in prison, not for the kidnapping plot, but for theft involving overcharging Letterman for paint work. He and another prisoner, William J. Willcutt, 22, escaped in a prison truck while working on the prison ranch.
Hopefully they’ll be caught soon, that is if they aren’t in Canada by now. If I were Letterman, I’d be a little freaked out. Certainly there’s no immediate threat, but Frank was sent to prison because of Letterman.
