We recently told you about a wild party thrown for Prince Harry in honor of his going to Iraq. Well, that party and the $10,000 in drinks that William shelled out were in vain because Harry’s not going!
After evaluating the situation and even traveling to Iraq, Chief of the general staff Sir Richard Dannatt said Wednesday: “I have decided today that Prince Harry will not deploy as a troop commander with his squadron.” Dannatt went on to talk about threats against Harry and that his presence would make it dangerous for both himself and his fellow soldiers.
Harry’s spokesperson said that he is “very disappointed.” I’m sure that he genuinely is. He seems like one crazy kid who might very well enjoy the thrill.
