Paris Gets Roasted and Goes to the Clink

After she attended the MTV Movie Awards Sunday evening and was roasted by Sarah Silverman (see clip below), Paris Hilton reported to a detention facility in Lynwood, Ca. Ms. Hilton was scheduled to start her 23-day sentence on Tuesday, but felt that going early would help her avoid the inevitable media circus that surely awaited her. Paris said in a statement that she was “scared” of going to jail, but realizes that she “made some mistakes” and that she will “take a more active role ” in making future decisions. Well, sweetie, you are a grown woman in your mid-twenties, it really shouldn’t take a stint behind bars to make you realize that you are expected to take responsibility for your actions.
