Paris Gets Her Way (Sort Of)

So, that much talked about 45-day jail stay that Paris Hilton was sentenced to a few weeks back? Reduced by half. Not only will the pampered Simple Life star now be required to spend just 3 weeks in the slammer, she is going to be placed in a unit that is reserved for “…celebrities and high-profile inmates” and only houses 2 dozen law breakers, and she may not even have to share a cell. This is all because of Ms. Hilton’s “good behavior”. Uh-huh.

Are we really expected to believe Princess Paris’s mommy, daddy, lawyer, publicist, agent and eyebrow technician weren’t all making continuous pleas on her behalf to the people who make these decisions? No favors were called in? No lunches had? At this rate, I have a sneaking suspicion that when June the 5th rolls around, Paris may just end up spending a quiet weekend in a 2 star spa as her penance.
