Media goddess Oprah Winfrey is branching out into the realm that is reality TV. Oprah Winfrey’s The Big Give is a competition/feel good series that ABC has just announced will be on their fall schedule. The contestants on this program compete to help others by using “ingenuity and passion”.

So I guess it’s got the suspense of a Survivor type program with the tissue factor of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Well, you know if it’s from O, it’s not going to be trash like I Love New York, but you do want your reality shows to be fun.

Will this be fun? We won’t know until September, but it is hard to imagine Ms. Winfrey failing at anything. Beloved dosen’t count. No one could have made that crazy mess of a movie work.
