Nicole Richie’s lawyers have managed to get her drunk driving trial delayed again until August 16 so that an expert witness can attend. The trial stems from The Simple Life star getting caught going the wrong way on an LA freeway, and she could get 4 days to 1 year in prison if convicted. She coincidentally has found herself pregnant, reportedly, and the lawyers surely are using that as a card. The longer they can delay the trial, the more she will be showing. But will the courts have mercy on a pregnant substance abuser who likes to drive the wrong way on the freeway?
