Just last Friday we told you about Jessica Simpson and John Mayer breaking up. Today, Mayer was seen leaving Simpson’s hotel, New York’s Soho Grand, at noon after a date that began last night.
Simpson’s “pal” told In Touch,
They definitely went on a date last night. She still loves him [but] he’s scared of commitment. He breaks up with her and then regrets it and then begs her to get back together.”
A witness said,
He was looking really happy. He couldn’t stop smiling.”
I can’t keep up. One minute Daddy Simpson says how much he loves Jessica’s boyfriend. The next a single Jessica is off at Cannes with a new hairstyle and exclamations of her happiness. Hopefully John and Jessica will just get on with Newlyweds II sooner rather than later. Jessica as Mommy would be entertaining, too.
