It’s news to me that Kevin Costner is the lead singer of the Kevin Costner Band and has a company, Kevin’s Music LLC, that manages his musical activities. Very creative names, aren’t they? Think Bacon Brothers, Kevin! Anyway, he’s suing Mahee Worldwide Ventures Inc. for breach of contract and fraud and is seeking damages in excess of $8.5 million! Apparently, they made an agreement in January that would allow Costner’s band to perform in up to 5 concerts per year as well as agreeing to build a website for the band. So, let me get this straight. He’s only given them 3 months to accomplish all of this and then slapped them with an $8.5 million lawsuit? A little demanding, don’t you think? They should just set him up on Myspace and book him at a House of Blues somewhere!
