Poor Minnie Driver. So cute, so British, but she just can’t catch a break in the love department. First Good Will Hunting co-star Matt Damon dumped her on Oprah. Then she got engaged to Josh Brolin, but they broke up, and she blamed it on Josh’s step-mom Barbra Streisand’s interference. Now fiance, MindFreak’s Criss Angel, has been spotted canoodling with Cameron Diaz in Las Vegas. Reports claim that they were in no way hiding their affections.
A “close friend” of Driver’s told the Daily Mail,
It’s so cruel and she doesn’t deserve it, she’s a great girl but she always seems to pick the wrong guy.
I was so happy for her when I heard back in September that Criss had proposed – she’s 37 and she was very ready to settle down and start a family before it’s too late. Now I am worried that she will give up on men forever.”
Yeah, sounds pretty accurate. I don’t know anything about this ultra-famous magician, but even his name scares me. Minnie, who grew up very privileged, should stick with finding someone a little more mainstream…except not someone who’s evil stepmother is Babs.
