Katie Holmes managed to get away from Tiny Tom, at least temporarily, as she began filming her first movie today since getting together with the Cruiser. She’s in Shreveport, Louisiana, with Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, and Ted Danson filming the female heist movie, Mad Money. Holmes partook in an interview with Keaton and spoke about her character to the Shreveport Times.
“She’s funny, she’s smart and just a little bit misunderstood,” Holmes said while looking mischievously at Keaton. “She’s involved in this crime, but she’s sort of delighted to just be a part of something and have girlfriends for the first time. She’s a type of person who creates a happier environment than she’s actually in. … I like that about her. She’s a free spirit.”
Hm, do I sense some real-life longing? I so much hope that Keaton and Latifah will have an intervention with that girl before the Cruiser arrives to take control of things. He’s set to do just that after he finishes filming Lions for Lambs. Rumor has it, he wants to control (i.e. eliminate) a nude scene that Katie is involved with. I must believe that those two will talk some sense into that girl when they see what a zombie she’s become.
