Is Kate Really Bad-Mouthing Prince Charles?

Kate Middleton

I get a kick out of the royal family, and last year’s film The Queen was a fascinating glimpse into these people’s secret lives. It’s especially interesting how they attempt to deal with outsiders. Often times, they seem awkward and out-of-touch with people not in the club. If you saw The Queen, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. (By the way, I realize that I’m basing these impressions on one movie and other here-say, but, as I always say, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. So we all know that Prince William had been dating Kate Middleton for a long time, everyone thought that he was going to pop the question any second and that they would live happily ever after ruling over the kingdom. Well, that dream went down the toilet when they broke up recently. One of her coworkers at Jigsaw, Philip Higgs, obviously saw a great opportunity to profit from knowing her and gave a statement to the Daily Mirror claiming that she’s tired of people nagging her about the situation and is now blaming Prince Charles for the breakup.

Normally, Kate doesn’t talk about anything. She’s very quiet. But it was as if she’d reached boiling point from one sympathetic question too many.”

So supposedly Kate spilled the beans that Prince Charles told William if he’s not ready to marry her, he should break it off to avoid another Diana fiasco. Yeah, I can see Charles doing this. And poor William is probably confused about whether he should get married after what he grew up around, but regardless, that girl had better stop dissing the royals otherwise it actually might turn into a Diana situation! The last thing you want is to be viewed as a problem to the royal family. They don’t like problems.

In a related story, over the weekend William went out with Harry as a send-off to Harry’s going to Iraq, and in a role reversal, William was reportedly the one drinking heavily and staying out late. A witness said William,

was clearly on a mission to get as drunk as possible.”

William reportedly stayed out until 3:30 and partied with Richard Branson’s 21-year-old daughter, Holly, and another blonde patron. He spent about $10,000 on drinks (including Dom Perignon, tequila shots and cocktails) for himself and his friends. He’s got the right idea, though. There’s no better cure for a broken heart than booze and the child of a billionaire.
