Don Imus, whom Time once named one of the 25 Most Influential People in America, has been fired from the radio. There was no chance for him after Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton got a hold of him, but more importantly, when a broadcaster loses advertisers, they usually don’t get to stay around too long. Stay tuned for the rebirth of crotchety, old Imus on satellite radio at some point in the next couple of years, but I give his marriage less than a year. Deirdre already had to cancel her book tour. She can’t be a very happy camper.
