The NY Post is reporting that a good friend of Simple Life star Nicole Richie says that Richie is pregnant with Joel Madden’s baby. This source even says that Richie is hoping to use the pregnancy to her advantage. “Nicole is kind of hoping her pregnancy will keep her out of jail.” (Remember she’s facing DUI charges). Unfortunately others are concerned that her weight will prevent her from carrying it to term.

Please don’t let this be true! If she gets her way, she’s going to start a new trend. All of the Hollywood troublemakers will start reproducing to stay out of jail. We don’t need little Lindsays running around. We’ve got to break the crazy Lohan cycle once and for all.
