On Wednesday, the lives of 67-year-old Bob Clark, who directed “A Christmas Store” as well as writing/directing/producing “Porky’s,” and his 22-year-old son Ariel were abruptly ended by a drunk driver. Today Hector Velazquez Nava, 24, was charged with two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated; one for each of the victims. He pled not guilty and is being held in LA County jail in lieu of $200,000 bail. If found guilty, he could face up to 12 years in prison. 12 years for 2 lives? Is that long enough?
