But Robots Can’t Sing

Katie Holmes

Were you hoping Tom Cruise’s robot, I mean wife, Katie Holmes, would fade into obscurity after Mad Money flopped? Yeah, me, too. Unfortunately, there’s the possibility that she might actually land another role before that happens.

She’s in talks to be in the musical Nine, directed by Chicago’s Rob Marshall and produced by Harvey Weinstein. She did a little singing and dancing audition for Mr. Marshall last Tuesday, and let’s hope she didn’t razzle dazzle him.

Here’s a taste of her singing talents from Dawson’s Creek as she sings a sassy rendition of Cheap Trick’s “I Want You to Want Me” (back was she was allowed to be sassy).

Other actresses reportedly in talks for parts are Demi Moore and Chicago stars, Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

What Was Katie’s Best Role?
