Britney Spears Shows Off a Brown, Dreadlock Wig and Joins Cyndi Lauper’s True Color Tour

I can’t figure out why it’s necessarily news when you’re bald and you go out with a different-colored wig. Doesn’t it just take a minute to change wigs? It’s not like you’re committing your hair to a new color. Anyway, here’s Britney Spears with son Jayden and her new dreadlocked, brunette wig. I just know one thing: I’m getting so sick of those stupid handbands she uses to cover up her extensions.

Here’s an update on Britney’s “career”: Her album has been postponed until 2008, she failed to show up for auditions for backup dancers last Friday, and she’s joining Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Tour in Los Angeles at the end of the month. Hopefully a concert with the likes of Erasure and Blondie’s Debbie Harry - minus backup dancers - will be enough to catapult her career.
