So those shiny blond locks that soccer hero David Beckham has been sporting as of late? Gone. Apparently, the look was only ever supposed to be temporary. It seems Becks, ever the dutiful husband, only went for the bleach to please his wife, Victoria. The celebrity couple had a magazine layout to shoot, and Posh felt that if her husband’s hair was lighter it would complement her new highlights.

Let us just take a moment to imagine what life must be like for these people, when not having your spouse’s hair clash with yours is high on your priority list. Done? Okay, moving on. David now is showing off a lot more of his scalp with a very close crew cut. Here’s hoping he doesn’t ask Victoria to do the same.
