Like most young starlets fresh out rehab, Britney Spears is including a little time for God in her new life. The scene on Sunday at the Bel Air Presbyterian Church turned out not to be a morning of solace for Spears, though.
After the benediction and the shaking of hands of famous people, such as the Schwarzeneggers who supposedly go there, there was an altercation between a paparazzi trying to get a picture of Spears and an undercover security guard/retired cop. Apparently, the church’s guards stopped traffic so that Britney’s SUV could leave, but one photographer continued to try to get past. The cop ran out of the church, drew his gun, and told the photographer to get on the ground. Then he handcuffed him and accused him of trying to run over a traffic cop. Eventually the photographer was released.
It could be said that church should be one place without crazy paparazzi all over, but guns drawn? Is this the old West?
