Edward Norton is confirmed to be the next Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk, the sequel to Hulk, due out June 13, 2008. Louis Leterrier (Transporter 2) is taking over the job of directing, and Marvel reportedly wants this movie to be less serious than Hulk and more in tune with the comic books. They are trying to distance themselves from Hulk, which ended up being a big flop, by terming the new film a “new big-screen adaptation” of the Marvel comic and using lots of flashy adjectives like “new,” “exciting,” “action-packed” and “return to the roots.” I just hope Norton spends some time in the gym bulking up a bit. As of now, he would be one skinny Bruce Banner, but in the world of CG, I guess it doesn’t really matter.
